Patrick Reiter grew up in the Watertown area before moving to Vermillion to attend the University of South Dakota where he earned a degree in Medical Biology in 2019. Upon graduation he began working at the Good Samaritan Society in Sioux Falls.
After working in Sioux Falls for a few years Patrick attended the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law and received his juris doctorate in 2025. Patrick completed internships with the Union County State's Attorney's Office and the Federal Public Defender's Office in Fargo, North Dakota, during law school, gaining exposure to criminal law from both the prosecution and defense perspective. After graduation, he moved to Brookings to begin his law career. Having grown up in South Dakota, Patrick is pleased to begin his legal career serving the Brookings community.
Patrick is admitted to practice in South Dakota and is working to build his practice in general practice areas including criminal law, estate planning, civil litigation, real estate, and family law.
